I grew up in Sprinfield, MO where I met my wife Mona. We were married in 1982. I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in history and religion. Mona and I lived in the Boston area from 1982-1990 on the North Shore where I graduated from Gordon Conwell Seminary and became a youth pastor at North Shore Community Baptist Church. In 1990 we were called to Clarksburg Baptist Church where we pastored for 10 years. After a brief time as the director of the Clarkburg Rescue Mission, we called to pastor Emmanuel Baptist Church in 2001.
We have four children:
Michelle- '86, Stephanie- '88, Kurt- '90 and Becca- '93.
I enjoy reading, writing, tennis, running, basketball and good movies. |
