I have lived in Parkersburg for 37 years with my husband Gary. We joined EBC in 1973, where I have served as Music Director for much of that time, including 1982 to 2001 and 2005 until the present. I recently completed my secular career of 31 years of teaching high school math at Parkersburg High School and Parkersburg South High School.
We are the parents of two sons and one grandson. Mike, who lives in NYC, is the teaching director of the Italian High School; Jason, who lives in Memphis, is a graphic designer at the Pink Palace Museum. Jalen, Jason's son, is a bright and active fourth grader.
Gary recently completed his high school teaching career with 39 years in education, and almost as many years of coaching cross country and track.
Being the Director of Music at Emmanuel Baptist Church is one of the greatest blessings of my life. It is my prayer that I can honor Him in all my endeavors at EBC as I do my best to provide opportunites for our church family to express their faith through music. |
