Our youth meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m in the Hope House.   (The Hope House is located next to the church across Joan Street.)  Brian Raitz and Cecil Childress help teach on Sunday mornings.

On Sunday nights, our youth meet at 6 p.m. in the Hope House.   Gary Prater is our teacher on Sunday nights.

On Wednesday nights, our youth meet at 6 p.m. in the Hope House. Rowena Sizemore and David Drennon help teach on Wednesday nights.

UPCOMING EVENTS FOR THE YOUTH OF EBC:

On April 13, the youth worked on a service project.  They put together military care packages for Wes Thomas (Iraq) and Troy Gilbert (Afganistan).  They also sent a card to Hannah Drennon who is studying in France. 

OMEGA will be held at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church (Huntington) on April 19.  This is a one day event for youth in grades 6-12.  The cost is $12 if postmarked by April 10; $15 if postmarked after April 10 or at the door. Registration starts at 1 p.m. and the event will dismiss at 6:30 p.m.  (See Kathy Wince if you're interested in attending.) 

 CLASS OF 2008 GRADUATES (high school, college, and grad school) will be recognized on Sunday, May 4.  If anyone in your family is graduating please contact the church office.  On Sunday evening, May 4, we will be having a SENIOR BANQUET for those graduating from high school.  The entire church family is invited to attend!

There will be a Youth Work Weekend at Camp Cowen on May 16-17.

BROTHERS' KEEPER will be from July 20-25 at Parchment Valley.  BROTHERS' KEEPER is a regional mission work opportunity for the youth of our WVBC churches across the state.  It gives our youth a new perspective on the Christian ideals of servant hood by giving of oneself.  If you are interested in attending please let Kathy Wince know by mid-April.
