Musical Opportunities

The Bible commands us to "sing to the Lord a new song," and to "praise Him with instruments." Here at EBC, we have a broad selection of music groups through which you can share your gifts.

SINGERS NEEDED FOR MEN’S ENSEMBLE

Ø What: Men’s Ensemble to sing rousing Gospel song

Ø Who: all men, young and old, from 9^th grade to “older than dirt!”

Ø When: rehearse Wed, July 30 & Aug 6 at 7:00

Ø Where: rehearse in sanctuary

Ø Why: to provide special music for Aug 10 morning worship services

CHANCEL CHOIR KICK-OFF

First rehearsal will be on Wed, Aug 20, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Kick-off Pot Luck will be at Jones’ farm on Saturday Sept 13 at 5:00 p.m.

COMING EVENTS:

- Guitar ensemble beginning Thurs Sept 11 for beginners and intermediates
- New Middle School Music Ensemble beginning Wed Sept 10 for 6^th-9^th graders
- Choristers Kick-off Sunday Sept 7 at 6:00 for 1^st-5^th graders
- Celebration Ringers Kick-off Sunday Sept 7 at 4:30 for 9^th grade through adults

CHERUB CHOIR: preschoolers, meet Sundays during Children's church; led by Becky Drennon

CHORISTER CHOIR: Grades 1 through 5; meets Sundays at 6:00; led by Candy Lindstrom, Mona Busiek, and Christa Raitz. New season begins on Sept 7.

CELEBRATION RINGERS: 9th Grade and older, meets Sundays at 4:30, led by Judy Prater . New season begins on Sept 7.

CHANCEL CHOIR: 10th grade and older; meets Wed, 7:00 p.m.; led by Judy Prater, accompanied by Candy Lindstrom. New season begins rehearsing on Aug 20.

Our PRAISE TEAM rehearses on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

MUSIC MINISTRY TEAM MEETINGS

The "luncheon" meetings will be on Sundays following church in the Fellowship Hall

on the following dates: April 13, June 8, August 10, and October 12.
