Emmanuel Baptist is part of the West Virginia Baptist Convention and the American Baptist Churches/ USA.   We currently give 8% of every offering to the United Mission program that supports both the WVBC and the ABC-USA.  

In addition we support the special mission offerings of the WVBC and ABC-USA.  These are:

America for Christ Offering -- collected in March -- These gifts are divided between the WVBC and National Ministries, ABC-USA.

One Great Hour of Sharing Offering -- collected in June -- These gifts are used to meet emergency needs in the US and around the World caused by natural disasters such as  earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, famines, etc.

Mountain State Ministries Offering -- collected in August -- 100% of this offering supports the ministries of the West Virginia Baptist Convention

World Mission Offering -- collected in October -- This offering is used by International Ministries of the ABC-USA in spreading the Gospel around the world through evangelism, leader development, medical, agriculture and other ministries.

Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering -- collected in December -- Gifts to this offering provide a once-a-year "Thank You" check for retired American Baptist missionaries and their widowed spouses and a fund to assist with emergency needs of these retirees.
