Children’s Ministry

Emmanuel Baptist Church is a family of believers dedicated to investing in the lives of children, birth to fifth grade.  We understand that children are not only part of our church  – but our world.  It is the prayer of this church that the children here would come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a relationship that will transform their life journey.

At Emmanuel Baptist Church we strive to provide an environment in which children can learn to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.

Sunday School is on Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM —10:30 AM.

We have a nursery/toddler room, preschool room and K-5th grade that use Group Buzz kit lessons.

During the Sunday 10:45 am worship service, we offer:

  • Care for babies to two year olds in the Nursery/Toddler Room.
  • Older children, three years through 5th grade, are in the sanctuary with parents until after the children’s sermon and then are welcome exit to their respective class for Children’s Worship.  Parents are welcome to attend with them.
    • Kindergarten through 5th grade go to the children’s chapel for a worship experience of music, offering, bible story time and prayer.
    • Preschoolers go to the preschool room for a bible story, craft, snack and music time.

The children share music with the congregation during the worship service periodically.

Learn More about Cubbies

Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes. Cubbies helps you lead your child to God early so your child will respect and trust Him for life.

Learn More about Sparks

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormerTM. Each year, Sparks clubbers: explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture, memorize Bible verses, and complete handbook activities. The handbooks, combined with Large Group Time lessons from the WHO Do I Need to Know From the Bible series, take your child on a journey through the entire Bible!

Learn More about Truth and Training

T&T engages third- through fifth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life. Clubs are designed to help kids stay plugged into T&T as they move into the preteen years and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.

We provide children with a safe and welcoming environment. The children, their friends, and their families can fellowship together, allowing them to:

  • LEARN Christian values and biblical stories,
  • SERVE others in their family, church, and community, and
  • GROW in their faith and in their relationship with God.

Our children’s ministry is supervised by our Family Life Minister, Jonathan Delgado, and supported and run by an amazing team of adult volunteers!
